Vasse Felix 2024 Heytesbury Chardonnay

The Heytesbury is the flagship chardonnay from Virginia Willcock and her crack team at Vasse Felix and this is in a very comfortable space after being released a few months ago. These wines are noteworthy being concentrated and deftly structured - and this delivers both. Wild yeast ferments and quality French oak play their roles in a rich, ripe wine that is a complete package: beautifully integrated with stone fruit, herbal notes, nutty oak and shortbread notes all in evidence.
